Do I provide my own lock? Who keeps the key?
Yes, you provide your lock. We can sell you a lock, or you can provide your own. We do not hold a copy of the key.

How can I pay my bill? What form of payment do you accept?
You can pay in person by check, cash or major credit card. You can also set up automatic billing at the front office.

Is my rental month-to-month?
Yes, your commitment is month to month. The minimum rental period is one month.

Can you rent me a truck?
Yes we can. We provide FREE truck rental at our Pocatello, Chubbuck, and Idaho Falls locations.Some restrictions apply call for details.

What can I store in my unit?
Furniture, appliances, clothing, kitchen items are all permitted. You may not store perishable or hazardous items.

How much space do I need?
Each customer is different. We will be pleased to assist you in determining your specific requirements.

How long is my term?
Units are rented month-to-month unless you request a long term pricing special.

Do I get a discount if I am renting for a long period?
We offer 1/2 month discount for 6 month leasing term and 1 month free for a 12 month leasing term.

Is there a deposit?
There is a $10 refundable cleaning deposit required in addition to the pro-rated rent.

What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
You will need a valid drivers license.

What kind of security system do you have?
We have gate-controlled access at our Pocatello, Chubbuck and Idaho Falls locations.

Do you offer boat and RV storage?
We have outdoor storage at our Pocatello location..

Do I need Insurance?
Your goods may be covered under your household insurance plan or you may purchase renters insurance from your insurance agent.. Intermountain Self Storage does not insure your goods.
